Yesterday, I vaguely said to myself that I will go to sleep by 10:30 pm, wake up at 6:30, and try to use my time productively in the morning. Now, it is 11:35 pm, and I’ve already have 4 hours of the sleep deficits since yesterday. The lack of sleep makes me groggy, and the following day tends to be a disaster. Now the sleep deficits will be 5 hours. I’ll see how it’ll go this time.

昨日、10時半までに寝て、6時に起きて、朝の時間を生産的に使おうと自分でなんとなく決めてみた。今は夜11時35分、今日の時点ですでに昨日からの睡眠負債が4時間積み重なっている。睡眠不足になると、いつもぐったりしてしまうし、次の日も悲惨なことになりがちだ。今日最後に寝ようしたときには、睡眠負債は5時間に伸びていた。今回はどうなるか、様子をみてみよう。
