It’s easier said than done to love and appreciate yourself. Instead of being grateful for what we have achieved, we tend to focus on our flaws and the things we still crave for.
文章はネイティブに添削をしてもらい、こちらの文は最初の ~easier said than done 以降の「to love and appreciate yourself」は incorrect ではないけど、 common でもないということでした。”Easier said than done.”
No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to get my English sentences right. Sometimes I lose words because I don’t understand the subtle nuances and differences between words. However, a remark made by an English teacher continues to resonate: “If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it.” I suppose the best thing I can do is stick with this little habit and read more sentences to be a tiny bit better than who I was yesterday.
おまけ) 2文目の Sometimes 以下の文の別バージョン -Sometimes I lose words because it is difficult to understandthe different nuances or subtle differences of each word. 違いその1、”I”を使う代わりに、”it is difficult”に置き換える。違いその2、difference という単語は重複するけれど、本来私が書いた文です。
